CONSULTANCY

Illumine provides consultancy that is tailor-made to each school’s requirements. Our consultants are all experienced, Section 5 trained, inspectors. Consultancies may focus on:

• developing self-evaluation systems as part of whole-school improvement;
• leadership and management – exploring and developing the effectiveness of senior staff;
• whole-school or subject / departmental review to diagnose strengths and areas for development;
• pre- and post-OFSTED support;
• teaching and learning – including coaching middle managers in lesson observation;
• review of provision for particular groups of pupils (SEN, EAL or gifted and talented) and review of the school’s overall provision for inclusion;
• review of provision (and outcomes) for personal development, behaviour and / or ECM;
• review of provision in the Foundation Stage;
• review of provision at post-16.

Consultancy is charged at a daily rate of £500 + VAT. The number of days is determined by negotiation in light of the school’s particular requirements.
